Together for more of Jesus

We’re gathering in the UK for a weekend of worship, teaching and prayer, united around the vision to see a generation find life in Jesus.

We believe that He is the answer to our longing for purpose, identity and meaning, so we want to do all we can to help people meet Him, know Him, and find life in Him.

This weekend represents the fullness of that mission: gathering followers of Jesus to know more of Him, and going out to make Him known.

Where is the Something More Weekend?

Nestled in the heart of rural Warwickshire is a 65 acre oasis of trees, fields and water: a beautiful countryside estate dedicated to God as a place of rest, retreat, renewal and teaching. And, from the 9-12th August, it’ll be home to the Something More Weekend.

We’ll camp in the fields at the centre of the estate next to the newly-built shower block, a short walk from the prayer cabin on the lake. The site address is: Red Hill, Heath End, Snitterfield, Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 0PQ. The entrance is just off the A46 — look out for the Something More flags! If you use the what3words app, search for embellish.plugged.easygoing, which will lead you to the site entrance.

What happens during the Weekend?

The Weekend is built around four sessions of worship, prayer, and teaching from God’s Word: exploring that year’s theme and helping us to see more of Jesus, together. As well as the main sessions there are special seminars, opportunities for prayer, time for space and rest, sports, food, walks and evenings together around the campfire. There’s even a morning run for our very bravest Weekenders…

When does it start and end?

Check-in is from 5pm on Friday 9th August, and our first session will begin at 8pm. Please try and arrive in time for that if you can. We’ll close at 12pm on Monday 12th August after our final session.

Will there be catering?

Yes! All meals from Friday evening to Monday morning are covered by the ticket cost, but make sure you bring snacks as there isn’t a shop nearby!

What do I need to bring?

A Bible
Notebook
Tent
Camping equipment
Snacks
Camping chair
Picnic blanket
Cutlery • Bowl • Plate • Mug
Washing up stuff
Torch
Sports kit
Towel • Toiletries

What can I expect on site?

Access to hot showers, toilets, washing up stations, water points and refrigeration facilities means you’ll have everything you need to camp happy!

Is there an age restriction?

As we work to establish the event over the coming years, our hope is to open it up to families and young people, but to help us with insuring the event and ensuring that we’re able to accommodate everyone well, this year the Weekend will be for adults only (18+).

What are the campsite rules?

We ask that you respect the commitment you agreed to on your booking form: to engage fully in the spirit of the Weekend and behave in a way that is respectful and honouring to everyone else involved. We will operate quiet hours between 23:30 and 6:30. We also ask that guests stay in single-sex tent compartments (excluding married couples).

Will I be able to access electricity on site?

There are a few electric hook ups in the camping field for those bringing campervans—but for charging phones and other devices, we recommend bringing a portable battery pack with you.

What if I need medical attention?

There will be qualified First Aiders on site who will provide immediate medical attention in case of an emergency. In the unlikely event that further medical attention is needed, the nearest hospital (Warwick Hospital) is just 5 miles away. Please do make us aware of any health conditions or medications ahead of the Weekend.

Can I bring alcohol?

We want our time together to be as welcoming, safe and accessible as possible for all of our guests — including those who may have a difficult relationship with alcohol — so we have decided to make the Weekend an alcohol-free event.

Can I come on my own?

Of course! Plenty of Weekenders come on their own, and there will be loads of opportunities to meet new people and chat, play sports, eat, worship and pray together over the Weekend, and, if you know and follow Jesus, we’re already family in Him!

Is there anything I should do to get ready for the Weekend?

Pray! Pray with us that God would use our time together for our good and His glory: that He would meet with us, that we would see Jesus more clearly, and that we would be filled with His Spirit to go out and make Him known.
