Step off the wide road that promises you peace and wholeness but never delivers it. Come to Jesus, and surrender. Leave your old life at the narrow gate, and walk with Him into a new life that never ends.

Have you allowed real grace and a genuine love for Jesus to saturate and shape your life so that it is in conflict with sin, structured apart from sin, positioned away from sin? Does your life tell the story of your love for Him?

Close your eyes, allow yourself to be drawn into the presence of God, release your grip on control and accept Him as the source of your hope and confidence: a source of strength greater than anything that could ever be found within you.

You can’t hold your life together and you don’t need to. Surrender it to the careful control of Him who is all kind, all knowing, all good.

We can start to see God’s role in our lives as a kind of magical life coach, whose purpose is to support us in the pursuit of living for our old dreams, achieving our old ambitions and avoiding our old fears—helping us to expand, unlock and saturate our new lives with the hopes and dreams of our old ones.

Maybe there is meaning, identity and absolute truth that has always been there, waiting. Maybe you have been designed, created and called for a purpose bigger than yourself. Maybe you are loved more than you can know.

There are three words that have transformed my life. God has better.
